WHAT IS LIVEPOSTCARD?
LivePostcard lets you share your adventure with your family and friends,
almost instantaneously, via the Internet. We take digital photographs of
travelers at exciting locations throughout Alaska, and then share them via
the Internet with your loved ones back home. The photographs arrive in an
electronic postcard that is personalized to the location that you visited,
including beautiful photography as well as detailed information about your
experience.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
You provide us with your information, including e-mail addresses of the
family and friends that you would like to share in your adventure. When
you sign up to
join LivePostcard we provide you with your personal Adventure ID # and Adventure
Journal where we store all your LivePostcards. At each Attraction our photographer
will take your picture at an ideal location (in front of a glacier, next
to a Musk Ox). You then give your membership number to the photographer
and you are done! Within hours your photographs will be available for you
to view, as well as automatically e-mailed to the people on your list.
HOW DO I SIGN UP?
Joining LivePostcard is easy! You can sign
up online at our Website, www.livepostcard.com
or sign up in person when you visit any of the LivePostcard Attractions.
If you join on-line, then we will mail you your membership card, along with
a listing of all the current LivePostcard Attractions. If you sign up at
an Attraction you will receive a member card immediately. Remember, you
only have to sign up once.
WHAT IF I DIDN'T GET MY CARD BEFORE I LEFT FOR MY TRIP?
You can print out your own membership card at home from our Website. Just
sign-in to the Members Area with your Adventure I.D. & Password and
go to the Print Member's Card Link. Or, just write down your number on any
piece of paper and take it with you. You must have your number in order
for us to associate your photographs with your account.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN I E-MAIL MY PICTURES TO?
You can submit an unlimited number of e-mail addresses for us to send your
LivePostcard pictures to. Also, if you don't know all the e-mail addresses
when you sign up you can also send an e-mail message to your family and
friends with a link to your Adventure Journal. You can even add the addresses
by simply accessing your Adventure
Journal on-line.
HOW DO I KNOW WHO WILL BE TAKING MY PICTURE AT PARTICIPATING LOCATIONS?
Some participating locations will have photographers wearing a bright blue
LivePostcard vest. In other locations, simply ask for LivePostcard upon
arrival.
HOW LONG WILL MY PICTURES BE AVAILABLE?
Your photographs will always be available on-line at our Website, unless
we notify you. You will always be able to view them and share them and you'll
never have to worry about storage space at home or faded or destroyed memories.
WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE INTERNET ACCESS OR AN E-MAIL ADDRESS?
No problem! You can still access your LivePostcard from any computer with
access to the Internet (at your local library, café, friend's house, etc.)
Simply go to www.livepostcard.com
and enter your Adventure ID#. This is also how your family and friends can
view your pictures if they don't have e-mail as well. If you don't want
to give out your Adventure ID #, you can also have them search for your
pictures by your name, as long as you allow your account to be listed in
our directory.
WILL ANYONE ELSE HAVE ACCESS TO ANY OF THE E-MAIL ADDRESSES ON MY ACCOUNT?
Your e-mail address and other personal information is used to conduct business
with you, to verify your identity as a registered LivePostcard Adventurer,
for access to your Photo Journal and for the receipt of prizes and other
free materials. Personal information will not be rented, sold or shared
with any of our partners without your specific request or permission.
IS THIS REALLY A FREE SERVICE?
Yes, we are testing our program and are offering it free to visitors this
summer. You may purchase high quality prints, a vacation album and other
merchandise from our Website, but it is not required.
I CAN'T FIND MY PICTURE
Though a rare occurrence, photos do occasionally go to our Lost and Found
files instead of to your Account. Click
here to Sign-In and look through those files for your picture.
WHAT IF THE WRONG PICTURE IS ON MY LIVEPOSTCARD?
Our sincere apologies if this has happened. This happens when the account
number is entered incorrectly. Click
here to have the wrong photo removed.
WHAT IS MY PASSWORD?
To ensure the security of your information and LivePostcards, all personal
information and editing capabilities can only be accessed by entering your
Adventure Journal with a Password. We would be happy to send you your password
via email, however we can only email it to the email address already registered
on your account. Click

WHAT IS THE SHIPPING POLICY FOR TRAVEL MALL ORDERS?
Orders will be processed within 5 - 7 business days and
shipped via USPS with an estimated shipping time of 2 - 5 days.
Please contact customer service
if your order does not arrive within this time frame.
WHAT IS THE RETURN POLICY FOR TRAVEL MALL ORDERS?
Print and photo gift sales are final unless there is a printing problem.
Other merchandise may be returned for a full refund if returned within 45 days in the original packaging and condition.
The purchaser is responsible for return shipping charges.
